Temple Law Jumps to #35 On National Law Journal’s Report of Go-To Law Schools

Temple Law School has jumped up 14 points to grab the 35th spot on the National Law Journal’s report of the top 50 “Go-To” law schools, placing more first-year associates in NLJ250 firms than any other law school in the region. No other school appearing on both the 2014 and 2015 reports saw such a significant jump, another indication of Temple’s national reputation for producing high caliber, practice-ready graduates.

On To Texas: Trial Team Takes Regionals, Moves On to National Tournament

The Temple Law National Trial Team took top honors at the Region III championships this past weekend, and will once again send a team to Texas for the National Trial Competition in March. Third-year law students Charmane Martin and Lauren Stram will represent Temple at the tournament against the 22 winners from the 11 other Regions across the country.

Exelon Honors Judge Nelson Diaz With Gift to Temple Law School

Exelon, the nation's leading competitive energy provider, has announced a $450,000 gift to Temple University Beasley School of Law in honor of long-time Exelon board member Judge Nelson A. Diaz. Professor Laura Little Elected to American Law Institute

Temple Law Professor Laura Little is one of 26 intellectual leaders who have been elected to join the American Law Institute. Her election comes on the heels of her appointment as an Associate Reporter for the ALI’s Restatement of Conflict of Laws project. Professor Little is the only new member elected from the state of Pennsylvania this year.
