Temple Law Students Receive Scholarships from National Bar Association

The National Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Division, Philadelphia chapter, has awarded more than $9,000 in scholarships to seven African-American female law students in the Greater Philadelphia area. Among the recipients were Temple Law students Nicole Simpson and Sathima Jones, who both received Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Fund Scholarships.

Daniel McKenna ’04 to Receive Sandra Day O’Connor Award for Professional Service

Daniel JT McKenna ‘04 has been selected to receive the prestigious Sandra Day O'Connor Award for Professional Service by the American Inns of Court. The award will be presented at the annual American Inns of Court Celebration of Excellence at the Supreme Court of the United States on October 19, 2013; the event will be hosted by Associate Justice Elena Kagan.

Temple Law graduates to serve as interns at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at The Hague

Keith Greenwald ’13 and Lauren Vogel ’13 have been offered internships at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) at the Hague. Greenwald will serve in the Office of the Prosecutor for three months this winter while Vogel will serve in the Victims and Witnesses Section for six months beginning this fall.
