Trial Team Sweeps Regional Championship

This past weekend, Temple's National Trial Team defended its Region III championship of the National Trial Competition at the Criminal Justice Center in Philadelphia. It was Temple’s 26th regional championship in 28 years of competition. The members of the championship teams are Emilia McKee Vassallo and Caroline Power; and Michelle Ashcroft and Britt Walden.

The Temple Summer Professional Experience Curriculum (T-SPEC) was created as a way for students to begin to understand the responsibility that lawyers assume when they enter the profession of law. Because the law is a powerful tool for achieving justice and equality in society it was important to us to create an opportunity for students to thoughtfully examine the profession and their place it.
