This past weekend in the Superior Court of D.C., Temple's National Trial Team won the Capitol City Challenge Tournament hosted by American University's Washington College of Law.

In the tournament's six year history, Temple has won the championship three times and finished second once.  In this year's championship run, the team defeated 20 other teams, including Fordham University in the final round.

The team consisted of Dan Assaraf, Stephanie Lutz, Charmane Martin and Mike Toczyski.   Stephanie Lutz was named "Best Advocate" in the final round.  The team was coached by Brian Burack (TT '11) of the Chester County DA's Office and Samantha Jones (TT'11) of Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP.
